Does T7 support system integration and LIMS connectivity?

Yes. T7 supports start-up checklist matching check and integrates with Zlims. For other LIMS systems, MGI provides an SDK that can be customized for various laboratory information management systems.

T7 supports mixed sequencing of different samples within the same application and across different application libraries. Sample mixing capacity varies by application: WGS (8-12 samples at 100GB/sample), WES (53-80 samples at 15GB/sample), Companion diagnostic panels (80-1200 samples at 1-10GB/sample), and Metagenomics (40-200 samples at 20-100M reads/sample). The system supports PCR and PCR-free library mixing, single and double barcode combinations up to 2000 barcodes, and mixed sequencing of non-MGI and MGI primers using APP-D reagent.

Cal files are uploaded via 10Gb/s optical fiber in real time. If Cal file upload fails during sequencing, T7 supports automatic uploading after sequencing completion. The system generates cal files after sequencing, with FASTQ writing recommended on Ztron Lite: PE100 takes 1 hour per flow cell (4 hours for 4 flow cells), while PE150 takes 1.5 hours per flow cell (6 hours for 4 flow cells). Writing FASTQ on the T7 server takes 3-4 hours per flow cell but prevents concurrent sequencing.

The T7 connects to Ztron Lite via network cable and optical fiber, with Ztron Lite connecting to customer data centres through optical fiber. Data can be delivered to AWS cloud via Ztron Lite. The system includes automatic data management, supporting automatic deletion of images and Zebracall Metrics files, while Cal files are retained by default.

T7 requires a UPS with power over 50,000VA featuring three terminals for hard wiring. Recommended storage capacity is 500-1000TB, sufficient for 1-2 months of data storage. Operating environment specifications include temperature 19°C-25°C, relative humidity 30%-80% RH non-condensing, vibration level VC-A, power requirements 200-240V 50/60Hz with triple hard terminals at 32A, altitude below 2000m, and noise levels ≤65dB.

T7 supports rolling sequencing, allowing insertion of a second flow cell while the first is sequencing with minimal impact on sequencing time for fewer than 3 flow cells. MGID-T7 requires 2 hours to load a flow cell, and automatic washing takes 40 minutes.

Yes, T7 supports recovery of sequencing progress when failures occur. However, sequencing cannot be recovered during MDA reaction stage, barcode reaction stage, or following BCS power off and restart failures. ECR3.0 supports configuration of waiting time between cycles and Cal file transfer for multiple flow cells after network interruption.
