Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of pilot demonstration projects for the 2019 “Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation” platform in manufacturing. Shenzhen MGI Technology Co., Ltd.’s MGI Informatization Construction Project was selected as a pilot project for both the platform and the element aggregation enterprise-level resource convergence platform.

Mass entrepreneurship and innovation is a key driver of economic growth, reform, industrial restructuring, and public benefit. It provides new momentum for China’s sustained and healthy development. The pilot projects aim to advance the coordinated growth of Made in China 2025 with Internet-driven innovation, and the life science equipment manufacturing sector—with genetic sequencers at its core—plays a critical role in supporting source innovation in life sciences.

The Informatization Construction Project optimises enterprise management through business carding, process standardisation, and information architecture design. By integrating business processes with information technology, the project provides a systematic approach to enterprise information management, implementing core information security strategies to protect critical assets. Agile development, lean production, quality management, and system optimisation will enhance refined R&D and production cost management, improve quality, and strengthen product competitiveness.

MGI remains committed to its philosophy of “To Enable Effective and Affordable Healthcare Packages for All”, positioning itself as a core tool builder in life sciences. Leveraging the “Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation” platform, MGI will integrate manufacturing with the Internet, supported by industrial networks, software, cloud, and big data. By connecting R&D, production, and incubation capabilities, MGI promotes multi-participant collaboration, high-efficiency synergy, and win-win partnerships, driving innovation across the full process, product life cycle, and industry chain.
