Recently, at the 14th International Genomics Conference (ICG-14) held in Shenzhen, MGI Tech Co., Ltd. (MGI) joined forces with leading industry partners including Roche, Agilent and other technology providers to introduce a series of new high-throughput genomics solutions based on DNBSEQ sequencing technology.

Together, the partners launched 10 new products and solutions covering key application areas such as whole genome sequencing (WGS), probe capture, targeted amplification panels, data analysis platforms and tumour mutational burden (TMB) reference standards. These releases further expand the capabilities of the DNBSEQ ecosystem and highlight the growing industry collaboration around MGI’s sequencing technology.

Expanding an Open Sequencing Ecosystem

As an upstream technology provider in the sequencing industry, MGI focuses on delivering powerful and scalable sequencing platforms while fostering an open and collaborative ecosystem. Through its open platform strategy, MGI works with partners across the genomics value chain to accelerate innovation in high-throughput sequencing applications.

Since the beginning of the year, MGI’s open platform programme has attracted cooperation interest from more than 20 well-known domestic and international companies. The company provides partners with access to its sequencing platforms, automated library preparation systems and data analysis solutions. In addition, MGI offers technical support including reagents, training and application guidance to help partners efficiently develop and validate new products.

Collaborative Solutions Across the Genomics Workflow

At ICG-14, MGI collaborated with companies including Roche, Agilent, Twist Bioscience, NanoDimBio, 10x Genomics, Pillar Biosciences and GeneWell to launch multiple sequencing solutions built for the DNBSEQ platform.

These solutions span a wide range of genomics workflows, including:

  • Library preparation technologies
  • Probe capture panels
  • Targeted sequencing assays
  • Single-cell genomics solutions
  • Reference standards and quality controls

 

To meet the growing demand for high-quality bioinformatics interpretation, MGI and several partners also introduced the MegaBOLT platform, an integrated solution designed for genomic data analysis and interpretation.
