SAN JOSE, CA, 6 June 2022 – MGI Americas (MGI) announced that its innovative CoolMPS sequencing chemistry and instruments* will be commercially available in the United States beginning 29 August 2022. More details about the launch will be shared at the 22nd annual Advances in Genome Biology and Technology (AGBT) conference, 6–9 June in Orlando, Florida.

MGI’s DNBSEQ-G400 sequencers* are among the most popular medium- to high-throughput sequencers worldwide, with hundreds installed globally. Following a recent decision by the Court in the Northern District of California, MGI will accept orders for this powerful sequencing platform with CoolMPS* in the US from 29 August and begin commercial shipments thereafter. MGI will continue introducing new instruments to the US market and announce future launch plans at ASHG, including its full family of library preparation kits for whole genome, whole exome, RNA, metagenomics, and more.
