SHENZHEN, China, 24 February 2021 — MGI Tech Co., Ltd. has installed its ultra-high-throughput sequencer, DNBSEQ-T7, at Yukang Medical Laboratory of YUCEBIO, continuing a strategic collaboration that began in 2018. The installation will support YUCEBIO’s clinical applications in tumour immunodiagnosis and immunotherapy.
The DNBSEQ-T7 sequencer, combined with YUCEBIO’s expertise in tumour immune markers and neoantigen prediction, will enable faster, higher-quality genomic analysis to support clinical diagnostics, research, and the China Anti-Cancer · Ladder Program. Launched in 2017, the program aims to build China’s first 10,000-level 3D tumour database, linking gene mutations, immune microenvironment data, and clinical treatment outcomes.
“DNBSEQ-T7 provides high-quality data output with lower duplication and index hopping, supporting the development of clinical companion diagnostics, dynamic monitoring and research services for malignant tumours,” said Jiang Hui.
Yukang Medical Laboratory, a CAP-certified third-party facility, is equipped with MGI’s sequencing platforms and additional molecular and digital pathology tools. The laboratory provides fully automated workflows, from sample preparation to data interpretation, enabling accurate and efficient clinical testing.
Through this collaboration, MGI and YUCEBIO aim to make cancer immunotherapy more effective and accessible, while supporting the development of China’s oncology genomics sector.
