With growing demand for improved detection capacity, the 384-well plate has become increasingly popular in laboratories. Compared with the 96-well plate, the 384-well plate has four times the volume and wells six times smaller, greatly enhancing overall capacity and operational efficiency while maximising reagent utilisation.
Existing large-volume pipette tips are incompatible with the smaller 384-well plate in terms of size, volume and pipetting accuracy. To address this, MGI has developed a small-volume pipette tip – the 70 μL automated filter tip. It has a maximum working volume of 70 μL and can accurately pipette as little as 1 μL, making it ideal for small-volume, high-precision applications and fully compatible with 384-well plates.
The 384-well plate’s increased number of smaller wells makes manual sample handling more challenging. MGI’s 70 μL automated filter tip reduces human error and variability during sampling. Fully compatible with 384-well plates, it ensures precise pipetting, producing more reliable results while taking full advantage of the high efficiency and throughput of the plate.
