Fluorometer 1
The Fluorometer 1 is a fluorescence-based quantitative device that delivers accurate measurements of DNA, RNA and protein concentrations. Designed for single-sample detection, it requires only 1–20 μL of sample to generate precise concentration readings, offering high sensitivity while minimising sample consumption. Fast, reliable and easy to use, the instrument is ideal for applications including DNA quantification for NGS library construction, RNA quantification and nucleic acid concentration analysis in PCR experiments.
Equipped with a high-sensitivity silicon photomultiplier tube detector (SiPMT), the Fluorometer 1 provides exceptional sensitivity for trace amounts of dsDNA, ssDNA, RNA and proteins without cross-interference. The system supports virtually any fluorescent assay, eliminating the need for proprietary kits. Compact (110 × 230 × 45.5 mm) and lightweight (0.5 kg), it saves valuable bench space while remaining highly portable for everyday laboratory use.

Applications
NGS Workflows
Primarily used for whole-genome sequencing and NGS library preparation, enabling accurate quantification and quality assessment of sequencing libraries to ensure high-quality downstream results.
Nucleic Acid Amplification
Suitable for the quantification of end-point PCR products and cDNA after RT-PCR. It also provides precise template quantification required before real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR).
Cell & Genetic Engineering
Used for transfection efficiency assessments, such as marker gene detection. Ideal for DNA/RNA quantification following gene editing (e.g., CRISPR) and quality control prior to transfection.
