FluoXpert™ Multiplex Immunofluorescence Technology
FluoXpert™ multiplex immunofluorescence (mIF) technology is based on cyclic indirect immunofluorescence staining and built on a stable sequencer-based architecture for spatial proteomics.
The platform enables detection of up to 24 protein markers on a single tissue section, expandable to 100-plex through kit stacking. Using a fully automated cyclic immunofluorescence workflow, FluoXpert™ delivers highly accurate spatial protein mapping with minimal false positives, supporting deeper insights into cellular interactions and the tissue microenvironment across oncology, immunology and translational research.
Technical Principles
Through repeated cycles of staining, imaging and elution, FluoXpert™ enables multiplex immunofluorescence detection of multiple target proteins within a single tissue section.
Using highly specific antigen-antibody binding combined with advanced optical imaging and image stitching algorithms, the system generates ultra-high-resolution images while enabling precise spatial localisation of proteins within tissue architecture. The gentle elution technology minimises tissue damage and preserves antigen integrity for subsequent staining cycles, enabling detection of more than 100 protein markers on a single section through panel stacking.
Applications
Multi-Omics Integration
Multi-Omics Integration
Integrate with single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) and MGI Tech Stereo-seq spatial transcriptomics for in situ protein validation and spatial localisation of key cell subsets identified through transcriptomic analysis, helping bridge discovery and functional validation.
Translational Medicine
Translational Medicine
Simultaneously monitor multiple markers related to proliferation, apoptosis and immune activation in drug intervention models. Gain a comprehensive understanding of a candidate drug’s mechanism of action, supporting drug screening, mechanism validation and clinical translation.
Tumour Microenvironment (TME) Research
Tumour Microenvironment (TME) Research
Comprehensively analyse the spatial distribution and interactions between tumour cells, immune cells (such as CD8⁺ T cells, Tregs and macrophages) and stromal cells. This supports identification of hot and cold tumours and enables investigation of immune evasion mechanisms.
Developmental and Reproductive Biology
Developmental and Reproductive Biology
Enable high-plex staining on frozen tissue sections to investigate molecular mechanisms, cellular localisation and structural changes during pregnancy and reproductive development.
Features
Label-Free Antibodies
