User Guide Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Unpacking & Preparation
1.1 Unpack
Blood collection device, Vacuum tube, Warm pack, Bandage, Specimen bag
*Have alcohol swabs ready
1.2 Wash your hands
Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water, then dry.
1.3 Locate collection area
Shave if needed. Place hand on shoulder to expose inner forearm.
Step 2: Heat Compress Preparation
2.1 Activate the warm pack
Bend the metal disc until liquid turns white and warm. A hot towel may be used alternatively.
2.2 Apply the warm pack
Gently place the warm pack directly onto the target area, ensuring full contact.
2.3 Timer
Hold 5 minutes. Lift 1–5 seconds if hot. Keep target area warm.
Step 3: Clean & Preparation
3.1 Clean the target area
Clean the target area thoroughly using an alcohol pad or swab.
*Let the skin dry completely before Step 3.3 to ensure proper attachment.
3.2 Prepare the device
Peel off the bottom protective film carefully before positioning the device for use.
3.3 Position the device
Position device correctly and press firmly onto target area.
Step 4: Blood Collection
4.1 Press to start
Remove white cap. Use your finger to push the blue cylinder down completely.
*Do not put your finger into the blue cylinder
4.2 Insert the tube
Insert the vacuum tube into the blue cylinder until the arrows align with the blue edge.
*Do not open the plug
4.3 Blood collection
Stretch your forearm at 0–45° to let blood flow down the tube wall. Keep still or rest your arm. Blood may not appear for 1–2 minutes.
Proceed to Step 5 when the blood is in EDTA.K2 tubes and reaches the marked line or after 3 minutes, whichever comes first.
SERUM GEL tubes require 3 minutes.
4.4 Timer
Keep your arm still for 3 minutes.
Step 5: Final Processing
5.1 Remove the device
Carefully insert your thumb from the top, then slowly and steadily peel device off skin.
5.2 Process blood sample
Immediately remove the tube, shake gently 10 times. For the SERUM GEL tube let it stand still to clot for 30 minutes.
5.3 Treat the wound
Clean any remaining blood and carefully apply a bandage. Place tube in specimen bag following kit instructions.
