About

To solve the problem of shortage of ultrasound doctors in rural areas and heavy workload for current doctors, MGIUS-R3 is developed by integration of robotics, teleoperation and ultrasound imaging technologies. Overcoming the limitations of traditional ultrasound scanning method, bridging the gap between time and space, improving the uneven distribution of medical resources, the system makes it possible to deliver the best medical services to those in need.

• Remote scanning over long distance and real-time diagnostics;

• Build-in intelligent workstation;

• Multiple safety protection;

• Integrated design.

E25 Sequencing Reagent Preparation

Mira, an AI employee, guides through the Best Practice Series on sequencing reagent preparation. The process starts with preparing sequencing reagents after dNTP preparation. Signal Proteins are thawed, mixed, and checked for integrity. The Signal Protein Buffer is prepared and added to the MSP well. MDA reagents and enzyme mix are then prepared, ensuring no bubbles form before adding to the MDA well. The chapter wraps up with a summary of the preparation steps.

About

At the Center for Microbial Translational Research, Karolinska Institutet, Prof. Engstrand is on a mission to scale up microbiome research. With the high-throughput capacity of DNBSEQ-T7, his team is expanding sample sizes to gain deeper insights into microbial ecosystems.

He believes the future lies in combining short reads and long reads, along with sequencing specific bacterial strains. This approach promises breakthroughs in single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, helping us understand microbial behavior like never before.
