MGI announced that its DNBSEQ-T7, DNBSEQ-G400 and DNBSEQ-G50 sequencers have received market clearance in Asia Pacific countries and Europe. The European CE-IVD mark approval allows these sequencers to be used in clinical settings and supports large-scale population sequencing projects, particularly with the high-throughput DNBSEQ-T7.
The DNBSEQ-T7 offers the highest daily data output of any DNA sequencer, capable of sequencing up to 60 human genomes per day. It is designed for clinical and population-scale applications, supporting Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS), Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) and other large-scale genomic studies. The G series sequencers (DNBSEQ-G400 and DNBSEQ-G50) are flexible benchtop instruments suitable for a wide range of applications.
In the Asia Pacific market, regulatory approvals for the G Series sequencers, including DNBSEQ-G400 and DNBSEQ-G50, have been obtained in China, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, enabling broad commercial use across the region.
