MGI Asia Pacific Pandemic Preparedness Program (PPP)

DNA

Empowering pathogen surveillance across the region

The MGI Asia Pacific (APAC) Pandemic Preparedness Program (PPP) is designed to equip institutions and laboratories across the Asia Pacific region, with plans for global expansion, with advanced pathogen surveillance and response solutions.

Born out of collaborations with key stakeholders, including the Asia Pathogen Genomics Initiative (APGI), the program delivers sustainable and impactful solutions for acute infectious disease surveillance. It focuses on delivering application-driven workflows that address pathogen genomics in an equitable, effective, and validated manner.

Exclusive Savings

Special discounts on selected sequencing instruments, consumables, and application packages for eligible organizations, ensuring cost-efficiency.

Order Freely

No minimum order requirements, with flexible purchasing terms to suit labs of all sizes — scale up or down as needed.

Ready-to-Run Kits

Preconfigured application bundles covering library preparation, sequencing, and data analysis, designed for infectious disease genomic surveillance.

Who can apply?
This program is tailored for universities, government institutes, hospitals, and research institutions that are focused on pathogen genomic surveillance. By providing access to tailored solutions, it ensures institutions can achieve timely, accurate, and actionable genomic insights.

The collaboration with APGI and its country partners marks a crucial step in expanding the reach of pathogen genomics. The program will soon extend to other institutions looking to develop or enhance their surveillance capabilities.

PPP application bundles
MGI offers transparent and cost-effective pricing on reagents and sequencing instruments through specialized pandemic preparedness application bundles. These bundles include all necessary reagents, consumables, and equipment for a full sample-to-answer workflow.

Eligible PPP recipients can access the following preconfigured Application Bundles (see table below) designed for various genomic surveillance needs. These bundles combine discounted rates on library preparation, sequencing, and analysis, with extraction costs included, according to product validation protocols.
