Beijing, China, 27 October 2022 – MGI officially launched its Beijing Customer Experience Center (CEC) in North China. Focused on “storage, reading, computing and use,” the CEC provides local researchers with access to MGI’s cutting-edge technology portfolio, including DNBSEQ™ sequencing platforms, laboratory automation systems, and bioinformatics management products.
The CEC acts as a centralised support hub, offering hands-on experience with MGI platforms, application development, troubleshooting, technology trials, validation or proof-of-concept programmes, seminars, technical training, and other user support. Spanning over 160 square metres, the facility features MGI’s latest product portfolio, including sequencers such as DNBSEQ-G400* and DNBSEQ-G50*, and automation systems including MGISP-NE384, MGISP-NE32, MGISP-100, MGISP-960, alongside new business products.
Beijing CEC also provides early access to the latest DNBSEQ-G99* sequencer, the miniaturised DNBSEQ-E25*, and the DNBelab-D4 digital sample preparation system, allowing local users to experience new products and technologies first.
Looking ahead, MGI Beijing CEC will incorporate the Smart Lab System, an unmanned, fully digital lab platform. It enables self-growth, self-perception, self-decision-making, and self-execution, managing environmental factors from sample to data. This intelligent system supports standardised, modular, automated workflows, achieving holistic quality management and contributing to a fully automated library-preparation and environment-monitoring system.

StandardMPS products cannot be ordered in the USA before 1 January 2023.
